MINISTRY OBJECTIVES:

Pastor Hall’s number one passion in life is to glorify God through the preaching and teaching of His Holy Word to all that are willing to hear and receive the truth and be set free from the  bondage of sin. It is therefore, Pastor Hall’s desire as much as lieth within him to live a life that is pleasing and acceptable to God whereby others can witness and attest to his love of God, God’s word and God’s people.  Pastor Hall’s daily mission more than anything else is to be a servant leader and do the work of God in a manner that demonstrates and reflects the unconditional love of God, so that others who see his effort and dedication are drawn to serve and worship God themselves and receive the blessings of being a child of God; not just the creation of God.

LIFE’S SUMMARY:

Pastor Hall is blessed to be called to serve in Alexandria, Virginia, the same community of his childhood where he still resides with his helpmate and wife Ruby of more than 52 years of marriage. Together, the couple raised and educated four children and are blessed with three daughters-in-laws and four grandchildren.

CHURCH/MINISTRY EXPERIENCE:

Pastor Hall’s parents introduced him to the Lord at a very young age. He was baptized at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA where he worshipped and served until God led him to Tabernacle Baptist Church (formally known as Shirley Duke Baptist Church) in 1978. It was at Tabernacle that Pastor Hall accepted his calling and was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1999, and later ordained in early 2012, by Pastor Jeffery Wheeler. On February 6,^, 2011, Pastor Hall began a new journey with the Lord as the interim minister in charge at St John Baptist Church.  Later that year, God called, appointed and anointed him to serve as Pastor and he was installed on March 25, 2012.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

Pastor Hall was born in Wise, North Carolina and raised in Alexandria, Virginia where he received his primary and secondary education in the public school system. Pastor Hall earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business in 1971 from Bethel University, McKenzie, TN. He later did his graduate studies in Public Finance in 1983 at Southeastern University, Washington, DC. In 2000, Pastor Hall received a degree in Bible Studies and Church Administration from the Capitol Bible Institute of Northern, VA.

PASSION AND PERSONAL INTEREST:

Pastor Hall’s passions are serving the Lord, family, church, studying the Word of God, writing and motorcycle riding.
