Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Unto Us a Child is Born …..

Dear St. John Family and Friends,

Greetings and blessings to our St. John Family as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! On behalf of Sister Hall and my entire family we want to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a blessed, safe, and enjoyable Christmas holiday season. As we reflect over the past year, we are reminded of how gracious, and merciful God has been to each of us. This past year has been filled with both highs and lows; through it all, God has remained consistent and faithful. He has sustained us during our good times as well as our challenging times. I am sure that many of us did not receive everything we wanted during this past year. However, if we are truly honest with ourselves, we realize that we received everything we needed to survive. God is a good God and He always honors His word and keeps His promises. The events and circumstances in this country continues to test our relationship with God. The ways and actions of the world and its people have continued to distance itself from the teachings of Jesus Christ found in the Holy Bible. Even in the mist of our daily challenges, the rewards of living a life acceptable to God has never been more rewarding and satisfying as it is today. Living for God is the outward manifestation of the indwelling of the spirit of God, who gives us the assurance that we will go to heaven when our time down here expires. As we come together with our family, loved ones, and friends to fellowship and share gifts, let us not forget the greatest gift of all, the gift from God the father for allowing His only Son to come into this sin filled world to be a sacrifice for all our sins, so that we who believe can be saved from eternal damnation. When Sister Hall and I look back over our lives especially our days here at St. John, we are humbled, and grateful for the love that our St. John family continues to show us, and our family. We pray that this season will bring healing and forgiveness so we can come together as a people and love each other the way God has instructed us to. Please know that the Hall family loves you and is praying for God’s favor and blessings for you and your family as you celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
